Lest We Forget

ANZAC Day is so much more than just a lame excuse to get dressed up, get pissed and play two-up...

Ordinary people like you and I died so we can have the freedom to enjoy our lifestyle.

A simple yet powerful way to remember and pay your respects (if you can't get to a Service anywhere), is at 6am on ANZAC Day, light a candle and stand at your letterbox/driveway/front landing...
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old: Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning, We will remember them.

Remembrance Day...
11 o'clock on the 11th day of the 11th month

Will you be wearing a Red poppy or a White poppy on this day?
While the red poppy specifically represents remembrance associated with the (British) Armed Forces, the white poppy commemorates all victims of all wars – both military and civilians of all nationalities – seeking to bring to an end “the exclusion of civilians from mainstream Remembrance events”.
